The victim died when a car struck them around 12:53 a.m. Thursday on the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway just west of Fifth Ave., a California Highway Patrol spokesperson said.
All eastbound lanes just west of Fifth Ave reopened around 4:40 a.m. after the CHP initially issued a SigAlert and diverted traffic off the freeway at Huntington Drive for about three hours.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the crash scene.
