Local fans can watch top trainers, jockeys, and promising 2-year-olds compete over two days, with first post at 1 p.m. and multiple graded races on both Saturday and Sunday.
3. California Firefighters Rush into Burning Home to Save Dog (greatergood.com) — Arcadia firefighters joined Pasadena and Sierra Madre crews to rescue a dog from a burning Pasadena home after neighbors reported frantic barking.
