ARCADIA, CA — The City of Arcadia will offer free mulch to residential water customers during a giveaway event Saturday, Oct. 24 at the Arcadia Public Library parking lot, the city said.
The giveaway is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the library, providing residents with an opportunity to obtain free mulch for landscaping and gardening projects.
Mulch can help retain soil moisture, reduce weed growth and improve soil health, making it a useful resource for homeowners looking to maintain their gardens and conserve water.
The mulch is available at no cost to Arcadia residential water customers.
Residents were advised to bring a copy of their water bill to verify eligibility.
