2012 Crystal Ball Benefits Arcadia Methodist Hospital

Grammy Award-winning singer Natalie Cole headlined the 2012 Crystal Ball benefiting Arcadia Methodist Hospital. Aptly themed An Unforgettable Night with Natalie Cole, Saturday's event honored former Methodist Hospital President and CEO Dennis Lee and his wife, Carolyn, for their many years of support for the hospital. Dennis Lee retired in 2011 after 17 years as CEO, while Carolyn Lee was an equally committed supporter of the hospital during the couple's two decades here.

Alan Whitman, former chair of the foundation board and member since 2002, expressed his excitement about the event, “I feel honored to share in recognizing President and CEO Dennis Lee and his wife, Carolyn for their many years of support for the hospital.” Alan is managing director at Morgan Stanley in Pasadena.

Crystal Ball 2011 raised $530,000. Alan and Sandy Whitman, the special honorees at the 22nd annual fundraising celebration, are longtime hospital supporters.

Proceeds from this year's event will go to support the hospital's elite stroke program, designated the American Heart Association Achievement Award.
