Arcadia Asks: Do You Have What it Takes to Lead?

The Arcadia Leadership Academy is once again accepting applications, according to the city of Arcadia website. If you are interested, read:

ARCADIA, CA—The Arcadia Leadership Academy, designed for 18-year-old and up residents of the city, is looking for those interested in learning about city operations.

This free, interactive civic education program provides a unique perspective into the workings of Arcadia. Those who are accepted will be able to to develop civic leadership, and to build a stronger community through well-informed and engaged residents.

"The Academy takes place in the evening over a period of nine weeks," the city of Arcadia stated on their website. "Each class features a presentation by top City staff and ample opportunity for discussion and questions. Some sessions also include a tour of the facility being discussed."

"The Leadership Academy is an excellent opportunity for any citizen of Arcadia to learn about their city in an interesting and informative way," resident Robert Miller said.

"The Leadership Academy is a priceless opportunity to get to know your city and have your voice heard," Emily Zheng said. "It is engaging and educational, the sessions were a joy to attend."
