Arcadia's Annie Diehl Talks Upcoming Western Nationals (video)

With its trip to Spokane, Wash., just a few days away, the Arcadia Girls Softball All-Star team is preparing for their trip to the ASA 14-under “B” Fast Pitch West National Championship from Aug. 1-7.

This is the first time a team from Arcadia has qualified for nationals, and on Tuesday we caught up with local star Annie Diehl to talk about the upcoming trip to Spokane and what it's been like to be a part of such a historic run.

While the all-star squad represents Arcadia, the team is made up of players from all over the Southland: Taylor Carnes (Bradbury), Annie Diehl (Arcadia), Jenna Harper (Los Angeles), Lauren Jauregui (Arcadia), Lexi Madrid (Pomona), McCarthy (Monrovia), Izzy Mejia (Arcadia), Yeram Park (Arcadia), Olivia Rivas (Duarte), Alyssa Scimeca (Monrovia) and Shelbi Zernickow (Monrovia).
