With his funky submarine delivery, Edson helped pitch the Apaches to a season for the ages.
We selected Arcadia's KJ Edson as our Spring Athlete of the Year after he helped lead the Apaches to the CIF-Southern Section divisional semifinals for the first time since 1987.
Edson finished the 2011 regular season with a 10-1 record and a 0.56 ERA. His funky submarine style on the mound helped him become one of the most dominant pitchers in the San Gabriel Vally this year.
