Baby Bears Play In Arcadia Neighborhood Yard

Climbing trees, pushing each other on the grass, the pair of bear cubs seemed to be having a grand old time.

A pair of California bear cubs had a playful contest to see which of them could be cuter. The winner? All Of Us. Local resident Daryl Chin caught the incident on camera.

Beginning their tussle on the edge of the curb, halfway in the road, the two baby bears spotted a tree on the grass and climbed up adjacent sides of it, grabbing at bark, pulling themselves up with their claws. One bear really got into it, a move that the less ambitious sibling seemed to resent, however slightly, and the more fervently climbing bear was playfully struck down to size.

Running and pushing followed between the pair with the more tree-minded of the two bears heading to nearby timber, again being pulled down by the sibling, who ostensibly preferred to play on the grass.

KTLA reports that the bears’ mother showed up shortly thereafter, leading her children safety back to the forest.
