The call came in at approximately 2:45 p.m. according to the fire department.County firefighters made quick work of the riverbed brush fire near the 400 block of West Covina Boulevard in San Dimas. Established over ninety years ago by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, the Philoptochos Society is a philanthropic women’s organization with more than 400 chapters throughout the United States.
