Driver Rescued From Mount Baldy Crash Two Days Later
The driver's truck tumbled off Mt. Baldy Road, nearly 75 feet below, near the Barrett Stoddard Truck Trail, LACFD said.

ARCADIA, CA — With foul weather and treacherous mountain roads, a 26-year-old driver crashed off the Mount Baldy roadway and was believed to be trapped in his car for two days, officials said.
"The man was reported trapped in his vehicle for two days after he went off the side of the road was rescued Wednesday near Mount Baldy," Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Michael Pittman said.
The California Highway Patrol called the LACFD just before 3 a.m. Wednesday to report a vehicle that appeared to have fallen off the road nearly 75 feet below Mount Baldy Road near the Barrett Stoddard Truck Trail.

The man inside the vehicle was found alive but with multiple injuries according to Vanessa Lozano, Los Angeles County Fire Department spokeswoman.
The man was carried up the mountain and transported by helicopter to a hospital.

His condition was not immediately reported, however he was "awake and alert but had some severe injuries,” Lozano said.
