Early Morning Hit and Run On Ramona Boulevard

EL MONTE, CA — A hit-and-run crash late Friday night seriously injured a woman in El Monte, police said.

A woman was seriously hurt in a hit-and-run crash in El Monte, authorities said. The crash was reported at just after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Maxson Road and Ramona Boulevard, according to Los Angeles County Fire Dispatch Supervisor Michael Pittman.

The woman was taken to a trauma center for her injuries, Pittman said.

A description of the vehicle was not immediately available.
