Elderly Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run ID'd as Quing-Ru Zhao Mao
Mao was struck about 8 a.m. Jan. 17 near Valley Boulevard and Gibson Avenue in El Monte and died at a hospital.
Authorities on Monday identified a 74-year-old woman who was fatally injured in El Monte by a hit-and-run motorist who remains at large.
Quing-Ru Zhao Mao, of El Monte, was struck about 8 a.m. Jan. 17 near Valley Boulevard and Gibson Avenue and died at a hospital, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
No description of the suspect or vehicle was released.
