A very Brassy Christmas

Modern Brass of Los Angeles, a group of Hollywood studio musicians, will perform new arrangements of traditional carols and other seasonal songs at a free concert 7:00 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Pasadena.

A member of Modern Brass of Los Angeles is Alex Iles, one of the most successful performers and teachers of trombone in Southern California.  Alex is a graduate of Arcadia High School and received his Bachelor's degree from UCLA.  He has recorded or performed with every major pop star and is heard on numerous television and motion picture soundtracks including the most recent Warner Bros. and Disney animated programs.

The group will perform arrangements by Anne McGinty and Bill Reichenbach taken from their CD "Fiat Lux".
