Fatal Shooting in SGV Under Investigation

SAN GABRIEL VALLEY, CA – The shooting death of a man in Duarte remains under investigation Sunday morning, authorities said.

It was reported at 4:20 p.m. in the 2600 block of Calle Martos, said Deputy Ryan Rouzan of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.

Deputies from the sheriff's Temple Station responded to reports of a possible burglary. When they arrived, they found a man inside the home suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, Rouzan said.

No suspect information was available.
