Hiker Rescued Off North Santa Anita Canyon After Perilous Fall
A search for a missing injured hiker from Angeles National Forest ended in Arcadia's North Santa Anita Canyon Road area.

ARCADIA, CA — An Arcadia area hiking incident sent helicopters and rescue crews on a mission to find an injured man Tuesday, authorities said.
The hiker tumbled over a cliff in the Chantry Flats area of the Angeles National Forest north of Arcadia Tuesday and suffered unspecified injuries.
Ground and air crews were sent about noon to the 2200 block of North Santa Anita Canyon Road, in an area about a mile and a half from a trail, according to the county fire department.

After about 90 minutes, rescuers made contact with the hiker, who was listed in stable condition, and they worked to bring the person to safety.
