Rape Suspect Sought In Arcadia, Surrounding Cities

ARCADIA, CA — A woman who was walking on the 2300 block of S. Santa Anita Avenue reported that she had been sexually assaulted by this man, pictured. The victim was able to complete the composite sketch of her attacker, according to Arcadia Police Department officers.

The attack took place just before 9 p.m. on Saturday night, according to Arcadia Police Chief Robert Guthrie. The sketch shows the suspect has a lazy or crossed left eye, distinctive for this suspect, they said. Also, a tattoo of a vine or similar, was noted on the left side of his neck.

"The suspect was male, hispanic, mid-20s, 140-150 pounds with a shaved head, long nose," they said. He was wearing a light colored t-shirt and dark colored shorts at the time of the attack, also seen riding a silver or metal color BMX style bicycle.

The case is currently under investigation, according to Guthrie.
