Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested in SGV
BREAKING: The Covina man was arrested after Glendora cops and the FBI conducted surveillance on his house, police said.

GLENDORA, CA – A Covina man is in custody for allegedly trying to rob a Glendora bank, police reported today.
Samuel Castro Jr., 43, was arrested on Friday and booked on suspicion of attempted bank robbery, according to the Glendora Police Department.
Castro was being held on $50,000 bail, and was expected to be arraigned Tuesday at the Citrus courthouse, police said.

The crime occurred on March 10 at a Bank of America branch at 843 E. Arrow Highway. Police said the suspect used a note and left without obtaining any money.
On Friday, authorities arrested Castro as he was leaving his home.

"Glendora Detectives and the FBI conducted surveillance on Castro’s residence in Covina and took him into custody as he left," police said.
Police obtained a search warrant for Castro's residence, and allegedly found evidence linking him to the attempted robbery, police said.
