Santa Anita Race Track Rained Out
It was a soupy day at Santa Anita, leading the racetrack to all Thursday's races. Free parking and live wagering in Grandstand Paddock Room.

ARCADIA, CA — A torrential downpour and continued wet weather forecast all day Thursday led the Santa Anita Park to call it a day, officials reported. The race track's eight-race card, which was scheduled to get underway at 1 p.m., was cancelled.
Santa Anita Track Superintendent Andy LaRocco said Santa Anita has taken on 3 inches of rain since Monday, and the National Weather Service is predicting an additional two inches of precipitation into Thursday afternoon.
Additionally, flash flood warnings have been issued in the local mountains and widespread flooding has been reported Thursday morning throughout Southern California.
