Spring Fling Event - Shopping, Networking, and Family Fun!

This weekend, Saturday, March 3rd, come down to Old Town Pasadena for a wonderful afternoon of fun at the Spring Fling Event taking place at the Scott Pavilion – located inside the Pasadena Senior Center and organized by Enjoy Occasions, Urban Corral, and SGV (San Gabriel Valley) Moms networking group.

Spend an entire afternoon at this fabulous event full of local businesses to get a head start on your Easter Sunday or Mother’s Day shopping, find a treat for the little ones or yourself, and even mingle with some of the business owners to make some new friends and networking contacts. You can even learn new things about the community. Most of the featured businesses at the event are run by your neighbors who are local to the San Gabriel Valley, who would love to meet you to show you the fun and exciting products they have to offer.

There will also be several amazing artisans in attendance with handmade crafts, including myself and my business: Urban Corral, a country boutique where we aim to help you bring a taste of cozy country style to your modern living space. I will have some of my amazing “Christmas Jam” that is to die for (I know it’s not Christmas-time anymore, but the cold weather sure calls for comforting delicious jam) - I also helped to organize this great event.

Visit Bronwyn Velazquez at the SGV Moms table and learn about pop-up play-dates, network mixers and get information about Wine and Crafts Nights; there will also be coloring pages for the kids, sponsored by SGV Moms. Shop with your local Pampered Chef consultant and see the latest Kids Cooking classes that will be coming soon. Get to know the TuTu School Pasadena and Macaroni Kid Pasadena and Glendale. Visit the Tutor Doctor - word on the street is that he usually has something special for the kids.

Another artisan, Wendy Nield, of Art Kit Factory, will be on site with her amazing art kits that are good for art on the go. If you are looking for a gift for the kids, or just for the budding artist in yourself, you can find her and her amazing art kits there. There will also be racks of beautiful, comfy, stylish clothes from LuLaRoe, where you can pick up a perfect outfit for your next springtime event and pair it off with a purse from Kelli Diane of Kelli Diane Designs. You can even shop for your kids at all these places, as they have clothing and accessories for everyone; LuLaRoe kids will be popping up. Follow your nose to some yummy Scensty items at their table and learn about Young Living Oils.

Speaking of yummy, food vendors will be selling plates of pulled pork, baked beans and coleslaw for lunch; desserts and complimentary water are also available, but we’ll have coffee and hot cocoa to warm you up as well. Be sure to check out the Photo Booth popping up that day to take some pictures to commemorate a fun afternoon out! Even Old Town Pasadena's very own YogurtLand will be showcasing their catering dessert bar, where you can create your own frozen yogurt cup, as well as other FREE samples of some sweet treats, plus so much more.

In addition to all of this, the talents of Certified wedding coordinator and event planner, Brionna Morris, and her company Enjoy Occasions, will be on display with a table of delectable treats, so bring your sweet tooth and a hunger to find out how Brionna can make your next event a total gala.
