3/26 Together Again: Tracy Newman with Shelby and Tieg

Tracy Newman and the Reinforcements return to Kulak's Woodshed on Saturday, March 26th at 8 PM. They'll be joined by the wonderful duo of Shelby and Tieg and their band. It'll be an evening of original songs and wonderful harmonies. Come early (no later than 7:30PM) for the best seats or a spot on the comfy bed. There is a suggested donation of $15 at the door. Plenty of street parking (read the signs and don't park in front of the school.) There are lots of great restaurants nearby, so have dinner before the show and make a night of it!

Tracy Newman and the Reinforcements are a Los Angeles based band. They are Americana with a touch of country swing and jazz. The band has played in venues around the Los Angeles area as well local music events and tours along the California coast, Arizona and Nevada. They have released two albums: A Place in the Sun and I Just See You. See the music video for I Just See You here.

LA based folk-pop duo Shelby & Tieg have been described as a modern Simon & Garfunkel (if one were a girl). Though they try to disguise their compositions with complex harmonies and intricate guitar, there’s no escaping that what they sing are fun pop songs that aim to make you smile. For this performance they will be joined by their band of good-looking academic overachievers. From master’s degrees at Cal Arts, to music graduates of USC and more, their credentials are enough to intimidate most.

This promises to be a fun evening of great music and incredible harmonies in the warm and comfy confines of Kulak's Woodshed.
