Two Arrested On Suspicion Of Home Depot Thefts
Two were arrested after a series of thefts from the warehouse store in Monterey Park.

MONTEREY PARK, CA — Two were arrested for thefts at an area Home Depot, police said. A man and woman allegedly stole items from the warehouse store in Monterey Park, and police suspect the two have committed similar crimes at other Home Depot stores in the San Gabriel Valley.
Roger Nava, 28, and Nayeli Crystal Molina, 30, both of Alhambra, were arrested Sept. 6, according to Monterey Park police Sgt. Gabriel Escarsega.
The two are accused of entering the Home Depot at 3500 Market Place about 8 p.m. Aug. 25, selecting numerous items and exiting the premises without paying, Escarsega said.

"The suspects were confronted by a store employee and one of the suspects engaged the employee in a brief struggle," Escarsega said. "The suspects then fled the location."
A follow-up investigation and video evidence led police to Nava and Molina and detectives are convinced the two have "additionally committed numerous commercial burglaries in multiple jurisdictions including, but not limited to, Home Depot stores throughout the San Gabriel Valley."
