Watch This Peacock Wreak Havoc In Arcadia Liquor Store
A liquor store in Arcadia was the unlikely spot for a troublesome peacock.

ARCADIA, CA — A uncooperative peacock perched atop liquor store shelves caused some serious trouble for a shopkeeper on Monday, according to this YouTube video. An employee attempted to remove several valuable bottles before an animal control officer worked to safely trap the feathered fiend with a net.
However, the bird was not interested in being caught. Instead, the sassy peacock ducked the animal control officer's net effortlessly, and flapped his way into a bevy of bottles.
What happened next was disappointing to the shopkeepers as the animal control worker had to keep trying to use his net, which captured more bottles than bird. Eventually, the animal control officer was able to capture the tenacious bird and take it out of the store, but not before it flapped and flew around the business, knocking bottles from store shelves.

The damage the peacock caused amounted to $500 in bottles of wine and Champagne, according to the shopkeepers in the video. The bird sauntered into the store when the front door was accidentally left open, according to store manager Rani Ghanem.
A customer reported seeing the bird, and Ghanem admitted he was caught off guard, not knowing what to do.

"I'm not sure if insurance covers that," Ghanem said.
The rampage occurred at Royal Oaks Liquors in the 500 block of North First Avenue. The peacock was taken to the Los Angeles County Arboretum Botanical Gardens on Baldwin Avenue, to be released, according to Animal Control officers.
