60 Displaced After 3-Alarm Fire In Baldwin Park

BALDWIN PARK, CA — Firefighters battled a three-alarm fire Sunday at a multi-unit complex in Baldwin Park.

The fire was reported sometime after 8 p.m. Sunday at 12828 E. Ramona Blvd., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

At 8:25 p.m., a second alarm was called while firefighters remained on the offensive, but they went on the defensive at 9:19 p.m. when a third alarm was called.

One person was taken from the burning building by firefighters, officials said. That person's condition was not available. Roughly 60 occupants were displaced from units.

The flames were out at 10:34 p.m. but crews remained on the scene to put out hot spots and help occupants.
