Participants will gather Saturday, Oct. 11 in Morgan Park for the 2nd Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event.
Money raised for the event goes towards the American Cancer Society to aid breast cancer research, raise awareness about the disease, provide access to mammograms, reduce its risk and find a cure.
Teams, or individual participants can join.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with the walk beginning at 9 a.m., 4100 Baldwin Park Blvd.
Pets are allowed.
