As construction continues, ramps in both directions will be closed sequentially, but no two consecutive ramps will be closed at the same time, according to Caltrans.

Motorists were encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and consider taking the 710 Freeway or 5 Freeway as alternate routes.

Caltrans said closures are subject to change. Motorists were advised to follow posted signage, use caution in construction areas, and drive safely.
