• Red Cross: Patients are counting on blood and platelet donors to give now (redcross.org) — Baldwin Park residents can give blood locally on Oct. 21 at Baldwin Park Bilingual Seventh-day Adventist Church and Oct. 23 at Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center, with another drive Nov. 4 at Sierra Vista High School. The Red Cross stresses an urgent need for donors this fall, offering e-gift card rewards and outlining who's eligible, plus many additional donation options across Los Angeles County.
