The arraignment for David Paz Vasquez has been continued to Oct. 24, court officials said Thursday.
Officials were in court Thursday regarding the 32-year-old Baldwin Park resident accused of causing fatal injuries to his 21-month-old son in June of this year.
Vasquez is accused of murder and assault on a child causing death.
The criminal complaint alleges that Vasquez killed the child on June 12. If convicted as charged, Vasquez faces a maximum prison sentence of 25 years to life.
