Baldwin Park Church to Host Free Job, College and Veterans Fair on Oct. 20

BALDWIN PARK, Calif. – More than 40 leading companies, government organizations, staffing agencies, nonprofit organizations and other businesses positions will be at Church of the Redeemer in Baldwin Park on Tuesday, Oct. 20, interviewing and taking resumes to fill more than 450 positions in the San Gabriel Valley and beyond.

The San Gabriel Valley Job, College and Veteran Fair will be held at the Baldwin Park church from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Church of the Redeemer is located at 3739 N. Monterey Ave. To register, visit www.cotrbp.org or call (626) 960-9585.

Recent graduates, experienced professionals, military veterans and others seeking employment will have the chance to meet and interview with a host of potential future employers – all in one place and all in one day.

A wide range of industries and employers will be represented, including New York Life, Robertson’s Ready Mix, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Medical Services, Westcliff University, Welk Resorts and more. They are seeking to fill jobs in accounting, administration, clerical, customer service, education, financial services, health care, nursing, law enforcement, management, manufacturing, non-profit, sales, transportation and other positions. On average, hourly pay rates range from $10-$22, but there are also an assortment of higher-level job openings, seasonal jobs and educational opportunities.
