Baldwin Park Kids Plan To Walk To School
Kids and families are taking part in a walking school bus across the Southland! and right here in Baldwin Park.
BALDWIN PARK, CA — Thousands of schools will take part in a "walking school bus" across the Southland.
Baldwin Park Unified School District’s Central Elementary School plans to participate in National Walk to School Day, starting at 7:25 a.m.
On Wednesday, Oct. 2 students, parents, teachers and staff will meet at Central Park, 15010 Badillo St., Baldwin Park, and will walk together to Central Elementary School.

The event promotes physical activity and community engagement and teaches students the importance of pedestrian safety, officials say.
