Teenage drivers in Baldwin Park learn to start smart with a two hour safety class taught by the California Highway Patrol.

BALDWIN PARK, CA — The California Highway Patrol recently offered a free driving class for new teenage drivers. The class, taught on Fri. Aug. 26, discussed the importance of paying attention behind the wheel in an age where drivers—both young and old—have more distractions than ever before.

This driving program entitled START SMART is free to students, both current or just learning. It was available for parents or guardians at no charge. The next Start Smart class date is yet to be posted.
