Baldwin Park Planning Commission Preview

The Baldwin Park Planning Commission will discuss allowing a possible adult residential care facility among the Agenda Items.

Here is a preview of the City Council meeting for Wednesday, Oct. 9:

Request for conditional use permit to allow adult residential care facility
This is an agenda item that has been discussed and continued since the month of May. The location for the care facility would be at 3562-3572 Vineland Avenue. The current location has fallen into disrepair and has violated numerous Code Enforcement rules. Approval of the permit would allow for renovations and additions to the existing structure.

New Rooftop-Mounted Wireless Telecommunications Facility
A request by New Cingular Wireless will be made for a conditional use permit to construct a wireless communications facility at 1919 Puente Avenue.

Officers will also present a report on a sustainability element update as well as an update on the proposed Irwindale Materials Recovery Facility and Transfer Station.
