(Baldwin Park Unified School District)

Help us ensure high achievement for ALL learners and be counted in the 2020 Census!

Dear Baldwin Park Unified School District Community,April 1 kicked off the official start of the 2020 Census and we want to ensure every person in our community is counted, so be sure to respond today! The Census count, done every 10 years, helps shape every aspect of our community, from school lunches and plans for highways to support for firefighters and families in need. By completing the Census, you will help ensure that Baldwin Park Unified receives fair funding for our schools, resources and BPUSD students. Such programs that could be positively impacted include before- and after-school programs, and free and reduced-price meal programs. Individuals have until July 30 to complete the Census. Personal information you provide on the Census is protected by law and will not be shared with any other federal agency. The 2020 Census asks no questions about citizenship. The process is safe, secure and confidential.Given the physical distancing mandates in place, the Census will rely heavily on online responses this year, so we encourage you all to complete the survey from the safety of your homes. Help us ensure high achievement for ALL learners and be counted in the 2020 Census! For more information, and to fill out the survey, please visit www.census.gov.
