James Santiago scored a game-high 25 points (including 13 in the final quarter) to lead the Nobles.  He also added two rebounds, two steals and an assist, while Jalen Cosman and Chris Akins each tallied eight points, and Keith Bolden added six points as Nogales would take its first lead of the game with 7:06 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Both teams would trade baskets in the early part of the fourth quarter, but Nogales would pull away with an 11-6 run, capped by Santiago’s two free throws in the final seconds to put the game away.  Gullien would score the final two points of the game as time ran out.

“We have a young team, and we made many mental mistakes,” Hart said. “Costly turnovers and costly defensive lapses in the fourth quarter is what did us in.”
