BPUSD Automotive Team Wins Third At Regional Competition

Baldwin Park and Sierra Vista high school students brought home bronze in a regional skills competition.

From the Baldwin Park Unified School District: Baldwin Park and Sierra Vista high school students in BPUSD's automotive technology program brought home bronze in a regional skills competition.

A team of four students from Baldwin Park Unified's automotive technology program brought home third place in Rio Hondo College's Student Auto Skills Competition Jan. 22.

Made up of two students from Baldwin Park High School and two students from Sierra Vista High School, BPUSD's team edged out more than 12 local schools in six areas of study, including precision measurement, electrical diagnostics and engine performance.
