Caltrans to Close I-10 and I-605 Freeways Connector (Schedule)

Besides the I-10 Freeway closures at night between the I-605 and Puente Avenue, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announces closures for some of the I-10/I-605 Freeway connectors.

The schedule of closures is part of the San Bernardino Freeway (I-10) and San Gabriel River Freeway (I-605) interchange improvement project.

Caltrans is constructing a direct flyover connector between the I-605 South and I-10 East freeways to improve traffic flow in the San Gabriel Valley.

The following schedule will be in effect, weather permitting:

Wednesday, May 29 and Thursday May, 30 ·        

• 12 a.m. to 4 a.m. – Four lanes of southbound I-605 from West Ramona Blvd to I-10. ·         
  
• 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. – Southbound I-605 connector to east- and westbound I-10. ·        
  
• 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. – Southbound I-605 east and west Ramona Blvd on-ramps. ·         
  
• 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Two thru lanes on the northbound I-605 from I-10 to West Ramona Blvd. ·         
  
• 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. – East- and westbound I-10 connectors to northbound I-605. 
  

• 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. – Southbound I-605 connector to east and westbound I-10. ·         
• 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. – Southbound I-605 east and west Ramona Blvd on-ramps. ·         
• 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. – Two lanes of northbound I-605 from I-10 to West Ramona Blvd. ·         
  
• 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. – East- and westbound I-10 connectors to northbound I-605. ·         
• 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. – Four lanes of southbound I-605 from West Ramona Blvd to I-10.
