City Council Approves Long Range Property Plan
Approved resolution outlines plans for multiple property assets from dissolved commission.

The Baldwin Park City Council approved a resolution for a Long Range Property Management Plan after the dissolution of the Community Development Commission.
The Community Development Commission was dissolved in 2012 under the Dissolution Act. A Successor Agency was tasked with the disposal of real property acquired from the defunct CDC. In order for that to happen, a Long Term Property Management Plan must be developed.
Included in the plan is a list of 10 pieces of property in Baldwin Park and a plan for its use or disposal. The majority of the properties will be retained for public parking pending future development, one parcel will be used for materials storage and one will be converted to a city park, documents showed.
A Finding of Completion letter was delivered to the city, acknowledging the Successor Agency has completed necessary payments regarding the property to the Department of Finance. The City has until Oct. 26 to submit the Long Range Property Management Plan, officials said.
