Free Hazardous Waste Round Up At Morgan Park On Saturday
Dispose of household hazardous waste and electronics the right way this Saturday.
If you have paint, cleaners, pesticides, batteries, or household electronic waste, dispose them the right way by taking them this Saturday to Morgan Park to the Free Hazardous Waste and E-Waste Round Up.
The event, open to all L.A. County residents, will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the 4100 block of Baldwin Park Blvd. Enter the park from Morgan Street.
Organizers said Business waste will not be accepted.

What youĀ CANĀ bring to an event (examples):
ā¢Ā Brake fluid,Ā paint,Ā paint th inner,Ā cleaners with acidĀ or lye,Ā pesticides or herbicides,Ā householdĀ batteries andĀ car batteries,Ā pool chemicals, motor oil, oi l filters,Ā expiredĀ pharmaceuticals, anti-freeze, and fluorescent light bu lbs.

ā¢Ā Household electronic waste whichĀ includes:Ā ComputerĀ monitors,Ā televisions,Ā computer CPUs,Ā keyboards,Ā printers, ce llular phones,Ā etc.
What you CAN'T bring to an event:
ā¢Ā Hazardous waste andĀ electronic waste fromĀ businesses.
ā¢Ā Explosives,Ā ammunition andĀ rad ioactive materials.
ā¢Ā TrashĀ and tires.
ā¢Ā White goods such asĀ refrigerators,Ā stoves andĀ washingĀ machines,etc.
ā¢Ā ControlledĀ substances.
How to prepare items for transportation:
ā¢Ā Bring the items inĀ a sturdy box, preferably in their original labeled containers.
ā¢Ā DoĀ not mix the items together.
ā¢Ā ThereĀ is a limit of 15 gal lons or 125 pounds of hazardous waste per trip.
ā¢Ā BeĀ preparedĀ to leave you r containers andĀ boxes. Remove all other items from your trunk.
