Hospice Volunteers Needed - RECRUITING for WINTER

Kaiser Permanente Tri‐Central Hospice is actively recruiting devoted people with a heart for service to join our team in your local community based on your schedule. Our team services these three Kaiser Medical Centers and the surrounding cities DOWNEY, BALDWIN PARK, and HARBOR CITY.

Hospice Volunteers provide emotional, spiritual, physical and social support for terminally ill patients and their families to help balance the spirit of living at the end of life. We have service opportunities for:
● Companionship ● Caregiver Relief ●End of Life Support ● Creative Arts (sewing, knitting, crocheting, music, crafts, singing etc.) ● Bereavement Support ● Office/Administrative Duties

Requirements:
• Adult 18 years or older
• Complete an application
• Provide Valid Driver's License
• Provide Proof of Auto Insurance
• Pass Background Check and Drug Test
• Complete 10 hour Orientation and Training Program
• Volunteer 2 to 4 hours per week for 1 year
