Kaiser Permanente Hosts Groundbreaking for Baldwin Park Medical Offices 2
On August 22, nearly 80 attendees including city officials from Baldwin Park and Kaiser Permanente attended a groundbreaking ceremony for Baldwin Park Medical Offices 2.
The 59,930 square-foot building will be located on the campus of the Baldwin Park Medical Center and will offer new and larger space for Orthopedics, Rheumatology, and Urology departments. It is scheduled to be completed by 4th Quarter, 2019.

“Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park is growing to meet the needs of our nearly 300, 000 members in the San Gabriel Valley,” says Maggie Pierce, Sr. Vice President & Area Manager, Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center. “Our new medical offices will feature cutting edge technology that includes single mobile check-in areas and an enhanced environment that enables physicians to be mobile or to provide tele-consultation. Interactive waiting areas will provide education to members on a variety of healthy lifestyle issues,” she adds.
This is the second building scheduled to open in 2019. The first building in Irwindale, slated to open early next year, will offer Ambulatory Services, Ophthalmology, Gastroenterology, Podiatry, and Pharmacy Services.

The space created by moving departments into the new buildings will enable other existing services to expand at the Baldwin Park Medical Center.
