According to Isela Ponce De Leon, La Primaria Administrator Extraordinaire “YAY! Our dream of replacing all computers in our computer lab and modifying our computer lab has come true…. our district computer technicians have been working tirelessly to upgrade and install the new computer lab since the beginning of the school year and are now up and running! The students at La Primaria will be able to work on different programs which include the AR reading, GiGi, Math programs and much more. Each teacher will have the opportunity to work with their students during the week. This computer lab was something our school needed for the longest time and finally came true!”

Whether we want to embrace it or not, technology is where it’s going. So, we can choose to keep up with it or we can fall behind. What La Primaria is doing will impact generations of El Monte children and will empower the kids to not be afraid of technology.
The world is ever changing and technology is only going to become more advanced and that is why it is so imperative to have your children start at the elementary level with computers. Aside from the fact that La Primaria students need to learn to use tech effectively, they also love it. Teaching with technology is highly engaging and a great way to keep kids excited about curriculum and just learning overall. Thank you to the teachers at La Primaria for staying ahead of the technology game and ensuring our children are a cut above.
