Baldwin Park Man Stabbed to Death in Shopping Mall
An 18-year-old Baldwin Park man died after being stabbed at a West Covina shopping center on Sunday.

An 18-year-old man who died in a stabbing at a West Covina shopping center was identified on Tuesday.
The victim was Ibrahim Zepeda of Baldwin Park, said Lt. Joe Bale of the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

The stabbing occurred late Sunday afternoon in the parking lot along the south side of Sears, said West Covina police Officer Rudy Lopez. Zepeda was brought into the emergency room of Queen of the Valley Hospital by unknown persons at 5:14 p.m. and died at 10:35 p.m. during surgery, Lopez said.
The suspects were described by police as several males who fled the scene. The motive for the attack was not known, and no arrests were made as of early Tuesday, police said.

"We're working all investigative leads," Detective Sgt. Dennis Patton said.
