Python Predicament In Baldwin Park: Who Gets The Ticket?

A Baldwin Park California Highway Patrol Officers on a routine traffic stop made a startling and slithery discovery in this vehicle.

BALDWIN PARK, CA — A Baldwin Park California Highway Patrol officer was just doing his work on Wednesday, pulling over drivers for texting while driving, speeding or driving with broken tail lights. This particular CHP officer discovered one driver had a slightly different passenger in the front seat.

The driver of this particular had a pet along for the ride, but it wasn't a slobbery dog. CHP Officer Tony Chen discovered this several foot long ball python was along for the ride. As Officer Chen and driver had a chat, the driver allowed a quick pic with the wriggling snake, who wound himself around his owner's neck like a scarf.

We're not sure if the driver got a ticket in the stop, or if Officer Chen let them slip away. One thing is for sure.
