Target Clinic now open in Rosemead

Target Clinic is now open in the Target store located at 3600 Rosemead Blvd., in Rosemead. A Target Clinic is a quick care clinic where guests can get basic primary and preventive care from licensed Kaiser Permanente caregivers including nurse practitioners, licensed vocational nurses, and physicians available by telemedicine consultations. Kaiser Permanente teamed up with Target in 2014 to offer quality health care clinics in Southern California. By 2020, there will be about 35 Target Clinics throughout Southern California.

Target Clinics offer more than 85 services, including pediatric care, women’s health care, monitoring and care for chronic conditions including diabetes, cholesterol and high blood pressure, basic dermatology services, and treatment for minor illnesses including strep throat, vaccinations, sinus pain, earaches, asthma, and cold and flu.

Hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; closed for lunch from 2 to 2:30 pm. Target Clinics treat members with Kaiser Permanente Health Plan coverage and accepts most insurance plans. Walk-ins are welcome. Kaiser Permanente members can also make appointments by calling the appointment line. Prescriptions for Kaiser Permanente members can be filled at the CVS pharmacy located at the same Target, but all refills after that must be filled at a Kaiser Permanente pharmacy.
