Valinda Man Arrested in Suspicion of Fatally Stabbing Wife
The couple's underage child was not inside the home at the time of the stabbing, according to sheriff's investigators.
VALINDA, CA -- A man was in custody Tuesday on suspicion of fatally stabbing his wife in their residence in unincorporated Valinda, authorities said.
The crime occurred about 8:35 p.m. Monday in the 16300 block of Doublegrove Street, said Deputy Kelvin Moody of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
Socorro Ramos, 28, died at the scene. Ricky Ramos, 32, was booked on suspicion of murder, and was being held in lieu of $2 million bail.
