The film presented a social structure based primarily on five distinct personality traits: Amity (showing love and kindness), Abnegation (selflessness), Candor (honesty), Dauntless (brave warriors), and Erudite (smart). People who exhibit varying strains of these five personality traits, rather than just a single one, are outcasts and labeled as Divergents.
Directed by Robert Schwentke, āInsurgentā is the second installment of the āDivergentā movie franchise. It stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James as the Divergent āTris Priorā and the Dauntless āFour.ā
