UPDATE: Woman Dies in 10 Freeway Crash
Victim was identified as Jessica Rose Luna, 17, she was either driving or a passenger in a red sedan that collided with an SUV and another vehicle in West Covina.

UPDATE: Victim was identified as Jessica Rose Luna, 17, of El Monte according to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
An investigation was under way today into a three- vehicle collision that killed a woman on the westbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway in West Covina.
The crash on the 10 at Pacific Avenue was reported at 11:24 p.m. Tuesday, said California Highway Patrol Officer Anthony Martin.

The woman was either driving or a passenger in a red sedan that collided with an SUV and another vehicle, a CHP sergeant told a news photographer at the scene. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators were trying to determine if alcohol played a role in the crash, the CHP sergeant said.

Several other people suffered injuries in the crash, but it was not immediately clear how many and how severely they were injured.
