I remember. I was getting ready for work. Listening to Jamie White and Danny Bonadouchebag on the radio in the morning. I heard the terror in Jamie's voice when they saw the first plane hit. I quickly turned on the TV and watched the second plane hit. The fear I felt watching the second plane hit was something I won't forget. When the first plane hit, I had thoughts that it must be a terrible accident. Then I saw the second plane hit at full speed ahead. That is when all feelings of safety and security left. I wanted to stay home glued to the TV. I had to work at Chino Hills State Park that day. We went out to the park to do our job. I remember it had NEVER been so quiet there. Usually there was constant plane traffic over head. All planes were grounded. The silence was deafening. I will never forget. My feelings of patriotism grew tenfold that day. Love my country!
