1 Person Injured After RivCo Blaze Erupts Near Doublewide Trailer: Cal Fire

One person was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, officials said.

VALLE VISTA, CA — One person suffered minor injuries after a fire broke out in garage near a doublewide trailer Friday morning in Valle Vista, fire officials said.

Firefighters were dispatched to the blaze at 11:07 a.m. on Rosebrugh Lane near Edith Way and saw heavy flames coming from the garage on the property when they arrived, according to Cal Fire Riverside County Fire Department.

The property owner, whose identity was not disclosed, suffered minor injuries, possibly while attempting to extinguish the flames. He was taken to nearby Hemet Valley Medical Center for treatment, officials said.

Another occupant of the property, who reportedly inhabits the garage, was initially feared trapped in the burning structure, but after crews knocked down the blaze at 11:35 a.m., no one was found.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
