1 Person Killed In RivCo Crash Involving 2 Vehicles: CHP

RIVERSIDE, CA — One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Riverside on Thursday night.

California Highway Patrol officers from the Riverside office responded to the collision around 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of Washington Street and John Harley Road where they found a black truck and a white sedan blocking multiple lanes near the intersection, according to a Riverside CHP spokeswoman.

The victim — whose age, gender and name were not immediately known — was pronounced dead at the scene.
