2 Arrested In Dollar Tree Shooting, Brawl: Report
Investigators said a getaway car had two young children inside when one of the suspects fled.
VICTORVILLE, CA — Two people were arrested after an altercation inside an Inland Empire Dollar Tree escalated into a shooting, KTLA reported Thursday.
Witnesses told police they saw multiple people engaged in a physical fight inside the store. Eventually, the fight spilled out into the parking lot, during which a suspect, Baltazar Tellez Jimenez, pulled out a handgun and fired toward a victim and the store entrance, the station reported.
Jimenez, 46, of Adelanto fled in a getaway car being driven by a second suspect, Wendy Salgado Ronces, 31 of Adelanto, authorities told KTLA. Inside the getaway vehicle were two children.

Deputies found the car shortly after and arrested both Jimenez and Salgado. Detectives also confirmed a firearm inside the vehicle was registered to Ronces.
